CERDO Importado

 

Everyone can do it as they like, even adding the potatoes and yuca from the beginning. I put chicken thighs on it, but they can also use legs, wings or the whole chicken cut into prey. We all ate it with pleasure, we loved it since we were kids! CERDO Importado  Sometimes he did it with stew and potatoes, others with vegetables such as green beans, carrots, corn or peas. There are many ways and variations, for example, some of us prefer to make the conventional stew with all the chopped ingredients. There are those who put the tomatoes, onion, garlic, seasonings in the blender, lightly fry the chicken and put it in a pot together with the sauce. It is a dish that is usually served for lunch. So you can play and try different types of tubers (potato, yucca, arracacha, there are even those who add cubios, hibias, chuguas and those ingredients for the boyacense stew). Also cob, even cabbage leaves. What I do is cut everything and fry the stew and add in chicken and other ingredients except for the yucca, I cook it separately although it is not necessary, you can do everything together. The reason I cook the  separately is that most of the time, the  here comes out very tough, so I put it a little bit in the pressure cooker and add it when the sweating is almost done.
